Bridgend Centre has been providing support to the people of Bollington, Macclesfield and surrounding areas for the last 25 years. It is a registered charity offering weekly health and educational activities for all ages and abilities.
We are looking to recruit a Community Worker to join our friendly team, working three days per week 9:30 – 5:00. We will be looking for someone to work Monday, Wednesdays and Thursdays but may have some flexibility on the days worked. This will initially be a six month fixed term contract with the possibility of it being extended and/or made permanent in the future.
We are looking for someone who is a great listener with excellent interpersonal skills who has the ability to make everyone welcome and included. Great administrative and IT skills are also very important as is the ability to juggle a variety of tasks in a busy environment. A flexible approach would be an advantage.
As this role will involve working with vulnerable adults and children, it is subject to a satisfactory DBS check and two acceptable references.
