JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Office Administrator / Supply Chain Administration Assistant that has previous experience working within an office environment and has intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

This position would suit an all-rounder that has a great administrative background and is looking to learn and understand production and the supply chain process. With the roles' main purpose to drive availability of the product for the customer, you will be focused and driven in a fast-paced environment.

Working as the Office Administrator / Supply Chain Administration Assistant you will mainly be assisting the Supply Chain Controller who oversees and optimises sourcing, procurement, delivery and inventory functions for the Welshpool site.

In your role as the Office Administrator / Supply Chain Administration Assistant you will be tasked with collating sales forecasts, modelling demand, scheduling requirements, and liaising with suppliers to achieve these; you will be expected to learn these aspects and support the business where necessary.

As the Office Administrator / Supply Chain Administration Assistant you will also be responsible for data entry / input and running reports, and as you progress in this role, you will be analysing performance and identifying problems to notify the Supply Chain Controller and General Manager.

The role is general admin which includes placing approved purchase orders on to the company’s SAP system and receipting stock to confirm stock arrivals and liaising between the Sales Team and the Production Team.

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • SAP experience desirable but system interest and attitude towards learning SAP essential
  • Experience of working in an office environment
  • Microsoft Excel intermediate level essential
  • Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook basic level essential
  • Ability to work under to tight deadlines
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility to meet the change in demands of customers and supply
  • Experience of a supply chain and/or procurement department desirable
  • An understanding of invoices/specifications
  • Ability to communicate and articulate findings / data
  • Comfortable working with individuals at all organisational levels
