Lead Internal Quality Assurer - Hospitality & Catering Midlands to £30,000 + benefits

The Role

The Lead Internal Quality Assurer will be responsible for managing the internal quality assurer team in the Hospitality & Catering sector. This is a national role, mainly desk based, with some field elements. Key responsibilities include:

• compliance with awarding organisations / sector skills council / company procedures
• co-ordinating EQA visits with operational business managers
• driving Continuous Improvement through feedback on individual trainer capability
• supporting development of IQAs through regular 1:1s / personal development plans
• supporting delivery methodology including e-learning / class room learning / 1:1 learning
• meeting clients and developing bespoke frameworks / learner journeys
• review qualifications ensuring they are fit for purpose for business units / clients / learners
• conducting employer & learner satisfaction surveys

The Person

The Lead Internal Quality Assurer will have relevant qualifications (D32, 33 / A1 / L3 / D34 / V1 / L4 etc.) and experience of working as an assessor / IQA within the Hospitality & Catering sector including:

• a positive approach to stakeholder management / ability to balance conflicting demands
• able to prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines
• have excellent accuracy / attention to detail / written & verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, independent and able to maintain strict confidentiality
