Position Summary
The Implementation Specialist provides DTCC clients with a single point of contact for implementation activities, coordinating with other internal functions to facilitate client Onboarding. They work with DTCC Support areas in resolving day-to-day operational, systems and communication problems with internal service providers and customers.
In addition:
•Manages client queries related to onboarding documentation and submission. •Accurately and efficiently processes new client account setup and amendments to existing account setups. •Actively participates in periodic projects related to account setup review and clean-up•Assists with training new hires and transfers into the area.
Primary Responsibilities
•Coordinates with the various internal areas (Product, Legal, Compliance, Technical Support, Customer Service) to ensure that account setups are done correctly and in accordance with agreed turn around times.
•Client facing role to provide the best customer service
•Ensures high customer satisfaction through professional, timely and knowledgeable client service
•Provides a thorough check of the membership paperwork for new accounts.
•Submits information into the in-house web application and verifies the quality through dual entry process checks.
•Submits instructions to support teams to facilitate the set up of client user access.
•Processes requests from existing users for account additions/terminations, name changes, product additions etc.
•Assist with client connectivity setup.
•Shares best practices with team members inside and outside of the Implementation team..
Essential Knowledge & Skills Required
•Good interpersonal and communication skills.
•Works well under pressure
•Strong customer-related experience working in the financial or professional services industry.
•Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
•Good time management and organizational skills.
•Proficient PC skills, specifically with business-oriented applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
•Strong attention to detail
•Ability to explain situations clearly and concisely to a varied audience.
Desirable Knowledge & Skills
•Degree Qualification or experience in a related area
•Knowledge of financial markets/derivatives
