The Business Analyst works on new software and servicing implementations having responsibility for gathering detailed business requirements, including detailed process flows and solution documents as well as ensuring the overall solution meets the business needs.
Responsibilities:
- The Business Analyst will lead the solution throughout the project lifecycle, operating as the interface between business and technical departments to ensure that proposed solutions are valid, documented and meet the correct business functionality, requirements and industry standards
- The business analyst provides customer guidance and assistance to project team members and interacts with the business, support, development and technical teams to ensure solution build continues to meet requirements.
- They will lead or participate in all client presentations and workshops to understand all client project goals, configuration requirements, workflows, complex business needs, gaps and opportunities. The business analyst financially provides or validate cost estimates
- The business analyst assists in the construction of the scope and approach to the project. Identifies gaps in current products or solutions, and provides such input / feedback to the Product Management team to assist in the production and on-going maintenance of product roadmaps.
- The business analyst contributes to risk / issue logs, project status documents, scope change documents, mapping, specification, test plans and test cases Supports initiatives for improvements, working with the Lead and / or Senior Business Analyst to establish, implement and continually improve processes
Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate will have a proven business analysis experience ideally in the financial services industry and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
- The following qualifications are desirable IIBA CBAP, ISEB Business Analysis Qualification or a Bachelor's degree with demonstrable experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- The candidate will have experience in project management principles, practices, techniques and tools including facilitation, organization, motivation, process mapping & use case experience. Experience of "Lean" Process Methodologies.
Salary will be based on relevant knowledge, skills and experience.
