£25,500 per annum (pro-rata)

YMCA DownsLink Group is recruiting for a part time Advice and Volunteer Coordinator for its busy support and advice drop-in at the Youth Advice Centre (YAC). 

The role will responsible for the day to day operational management and delivery of the integrated advice service at YAC, facilitating a drop-in offering advice, guidance and support to young people aged 13 to 25 years olds around a wide variety of issues affecting the well-being of young people. This includes mental health and wellbeing support, sexual health services, debt and benefits advice as well as a wide range of other support areas and signposting.

The worker will provide line management of the youth advice workers and oversee the training and recruitment of volunteer roles across the service.

We are looking to recruit a skilled and qualified individual who has previous management experience, experience working with young people and has a good knowledge of local services and local strategic developments.
