Teaching Assistant - Fixed Term Contract - SEN School - Brighton - Start June 2016

Are you an experienced teaching assistant, are you looking for a long term opportunity, do you have the experience of working in SEN settings?

Excellent oppurtunity has arisen for a Teaching assistant at a really good SEN setting. The job involves inspiring learners with a range of learning and behavioural difficulties and giving extra help to children with special needs. Exciting long term opportunity to join a professional, fun staff force dedicated to enriching the lives of learners who need additional support and ensuring each learner achieves their absolute potential.

The Job:
- Full time teaching assistant contract.
- Excellent rates of pay.
- No qualification required, experience working with children with SEN preferred.
- Duties will include supporting learners with academic, social and vocational support in a school setting.
- Career prospects and professional development available, permanent contract also an option once probation is passed.

- Recent Good Ofsted report.

The Child:
- Learners will have a range of SEN including autistic spectrum, social emotional and behavioural difficulties and other associated needs.
- Learners will be aged 7 to 25.
- Training for permanent contracts will be provided, this will include things like SEN awareness, de-escalation strategies etc.

Requirements for candidates will include:
- Up to date knowledge/experience in UK SEN settings.
- Own transport could be an advantage but not essential
- Eligibility to work in the UK
