Job Elements: -

• The Senior Support Analyst is responsible for 1st & 2nd line support on all aspects of the IT infrastructure and will cover everything from desktop hardware/software through to the Server infrastructure for local systems. They will act as an escalation point for IT analysts.
• Provide support for all aspects of the IT infrastructure at regional level to ensure maximum uptime in a 24/5 manufacturing environment.
• Ensure effective monitoring of IT Services and propose methods of improving service delivery in local regions.
• Ensure escalated Service Desk incidents/requests are resolved effectively and within the agreed SLA.
• Actively participate or lead local / global projects as required by IT Management
• Actively seek and lead process improvements activities either locally or globally as required by IT Management
• Responsible for all levels of administration, documentation and support of regional server systems as directed by IT Management.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Technical lead with hands on experience of multi-site/server environment
• Extensive experience of VMWare/Hyper-V
• IT and/or Microsoft qualification (MCSE, MCITP, CNNA) preferred
• Strong Active Directory skills
• Strong background in Windows Server 2000, 2003 and 2008
• Exchange 2010/2013
• Experience of supporting SQL 2008/2012/2014
• Experience of Microsoft Lync 2013
• Experience of Office 2010 and 2013
• Knowledge of SSCM/SCOM
• Experience of hands-on CISCO LAN management and troubleshooting
• Attitude of continuous system improvement
• Experience of working in a Manufacturing environment
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
