Your role with this market leading & profitable software house will involve developing high quality JAVA JEE software applications including Analysis & Design, unit & integration testing, implementation, documentation & support. The Java Developer will also be expected to contribute to the improvement of the company’s products, procedures and standards. Senior Java Developers will be expected to lead projects and mentor junior members of staff.
The Java Developer will have gained a minimum of 2/3 years practical experience of developing commercial applications with a good knowledge of the full life cycle. Your skill set should include:
- 2 years+ Java JEE
- Web based applications
- Software development life cycle
- Experience of developing large scale commercial applications
- Ideally experience with C development
- Educated to degree level
Familiar with OO analysis and design, experience of software testing techniques, SQL Server or Oracle RDB knowledge, document management and financial services would be advantageous
