I am recruiting for a Personal Assistant. I'm a 54 year old disabled man. I need a PA to assist me in my daily needs. Due to the personal nature of the job I would prefer male applicants [exemptions are allowed in law and does not contravene any Equalities Acts] but experienced female applicants may also be considered.
Experience needed: Knowledge of access issues for disabled people; able to use accessible equipment/aids; car driver would be preferred but not essential;
Tasks required: support with personal care [dressing etc]; able to work flexible hours; flexible tasks; help with house work; taking notes at meetings, etc.; being discrete in social/public gatherings etc.
I'm looking for a person who is 100% trustworthy, reliable, hardworking and totally confidential.
4 weeks annual paid leave.
N.B. Successful applicant will require to work 6 weeks probation period.
Other: Successful applicant will need enhanced DBS/CRB check
