This mental health charity is seeking an experienced Advice Team Leader to join their young person’s service (YASP) and to lead on a new partnership project. This advice work is funded by the Big Lottery ‘Help Through Crisis’ programme and is for young people aged 15 to 25 who are at risk of crisis.

Hours:  17.5 hours a week

The Team Leader will provide casework supervision and provide oversight of a range of involvement and participation methods. The Team Leader will be responsible for monitoring, evaluation and reporting as well as having the chance to develop a service that will help a diverse range of young people from across Manchester.

The charity are looking to appoint someone who has excellent knowledge of welfare rights and previous experience of developing and delivering successful projects.

This permanent position is part of a partnership project with funding secured until 2021. The Advice Team Leader will lead on the ‘Help Through Crisis’ project within charity, GMCDP and YPSF. This will be via small team comprising of three part-time Advisors and one part-time Participation Development Worker. This work is funded by the Big Lottery Fund ‘Help Through Crisis’ fund.
