The main aim of the Account Manager role is to strengthen and expand the client base, to support Manchester Central’s growth and generate economic impact for the city of Manchester.

Reporting to the Venue Sales Manager, the Account Manager will be responsible for:

- To develop and maintain current licence fee revenues from existing clients

-  To develop a sales strategy to attract new business to Manchester Central in conjunction with the Venue sales Manager

-  To organise and attend client meetings, both internally and externally

-  To meet and exceed all agreed sales targets (individual KPI & revenue targets, and overall team target)

-  To maintain and accurately keep updated customer records on internal CRM system.

-  To efficiently respond to all customer enquiries in a timely and effective/detailed manner

-  To create and prepare venue and city bid documents for potential customers, ensuring that all likely additional costs relating to the event have been assessed accurately and communicated

-  To work closely with the operations team to ensure the events you sell are not only commercially, but equally operationally viable

-  To prepare/provide weekly and monthly sales activity reports

-  To ensure that the venue diary is up to date and accurate in terms of dates and agreed rates

To become our Account Manager you will:

- Have a background in a structured/consultative sales role, preferably within the events industry

- Be used to sales reporting and monitoring, while simultaneously identifying and winning business

- A passionate individual committed to delivering high standards with the enthusiasm and drive to succeed

in a fast moving and challenging environment.
