SEN Teaching Assistant
Birmingham area

£55 - £65 a day
Randstad Education is currently looking for a strong SEN Teaching Assistant for a special school based in Birmingham. The role will be full time working with KS3 students with ASD and MLD.
Due to the requirements of the students, it is important that the candidate has at least 12 months experience working in a similar setting with students with autism and moderate learning difficulties. A level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools or equivalent is required.
The ideal candidate must be able to:
- Work 5 days per week during term time
- Comfortably develop professional relationships with students and staff
- Use their own initiative
- Demonstrate the ability to use PECS / Makaton
