Business Development Manager

We have a great opportunity for a Business Development Manager who can offer end to end multi-site management of the relationship with our North West franchisees. We are looking for someone to uphold the Cash Converters values of Professionalism, Collaboration, Integrity, Passion and Respect in driving the success of our franchise business.

You will be required to work with numerous franchisees to develop robust business plans and help them to achieve them through sound commercial advice and coordination of training needs with our regional training team. The mix of franchisees will see the successful applicant working with single store owner operators to large groups with their own established infrastructure.

Working in collaboration with the marketing, finance and compliance teams in head office, the role also requires the business development manager to ensure the upkeep of store standards and ensure the delivery of an exemplary and compliant customer experience across the network.

Cash Converters’ stores offer a wide range of services and we are looking for someone that can quickly grasp the complexities of a multi-service offering. Experience in a retail environment is essential and franchising is highly desirable, but additional exposure to financial services will be viewed favorably.

You need to have a detailed eye for standards and the ability to influence others. You need to be a confident, driven and enthusiastic self-starter who can communicate well at all levels and has outstanding presentation skills. Reporting to the Managing Director – UK, you will be offering ongoing support to the franchise network whilst achieving the individual KPIs and internal business objectives.

The successful applicant with be comfortable discussing the profit and loss as well as cash flow, together with a clear understanding of business drivers, performance measurement and operational benchmarking.
