Academy Schools’ Accountant
Salary: Up to £37,000 pa plus Pension
35 hours per week. Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
Based at Edgbaston Park Road, Birmingham

The Foundation Office provides managerial, administrative and back office support to the eight King Edward VI Schools in Birmingham.

We are looking to recruit an Academy Schools’ Accountant that can provide financial support and advice to three Academies. This is an exciting time representing an excellent opportunity as the Academies are in the process of forming a Multi-Academy Trust.

You should be qualified CCAB or alternatively part-qualified by experience with good communication and financial management skills.

Prior experience of working in a school or charity, whilst an advantage, is not necessary.
We are looking for someone with drive, enthusiasm and flexibility to take on this varied and developing role.

You will be based at the Foundation Office in Edgbaston Park Road but will be expected to visit the Schools and attend evening Finance Committee meetings as required.
