Goods In and Sampling Officer (Interim)

Part of a large and ever expanding group, this food manufacturing company requires an experienced applicant to join their team as a Goods In Officer. The primary remit of the role is to ensure all incoming raw materials, both ingredients and packaging, are risk assessed, sampled in conjunction with relevant site plans and meet specification. Any non-conformances are to be reported immediately. As such, applicants must have a thorough and logical approach to their work and possess strong analytical skills; the ability to record and cross examine information through Excel or similar spreadsheets, be able to contact suppliers to discuss any quality issues and be able to perform straight forward laboratory tests. Experience of investigating non-conformances would be a huge benefit but can be taught in the role, an understanding of GMP practices and traceability systems would be a distinct advantage but perhaps most important is an ambition to learn and progress in a fast paced, modern environment. Hours are flexible but based around 8 hour day shifts and interviews are about to commence so apply immediately if interested.
