Geography Teacher

Are you Geography NQT looking for the start to your career in secondary education?
Or are you an experienced Geography Teacher looking for a temporary role next year?

A well-respected and achieving Academy in Rotherham is looking to recruit a Geography Teacher from July or September 2016 for a maternity cover role until Easter 2017.

A recent Ofsted inspection has noted that one of the academy's strengths is high staff moral, which has resulted in improved levels of achievement.

In this role you will be responsible for:

- Teaching in line with the schemes of work and subject specifications as adopted within the department.
- Independent planning, preparation and delivery of Geography lessons.
- Building relationships with students and staff to maximise learning opportunities.

To ensure we match right person to the role you will be required to:

- Hold Qualified Teacher Status.
- Have experience in a similar role, teaching to at least KS4.
- Be able provide a minimum two acceptable references and be subject to Randstad Education's child safety standards.
