Horizon Transitional Care are opening a new Adults care home that specialises in caring for Adults of mixed gender, aged between 18-25 and who have severe and complex Learning Disabilities which include with ASD, ADHD and other forms of disabilities such as Downs Syndrome or Global Developmental Delay.

Horizon Transitional Care utilizes a wide range of supportive approaches and techniques to enable the service user’s to learn and develop.

We are currently recruiting for Residential Support workers who are passionate and dedicated about making a difference in people’s lives and who will ensure that the welfare and happiness of the service user’s is made paramount at all times.

• All applicants must be over the age of 21.
• A minimum of a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification is desirable.
• They must have a minimum of 12 months experience of working with adults with learning disabilities.
• A full driving licence.    

The successful candidate will be working directly with service users and will be required to work a 3 days on 3 days off shift pattern, on a rolling rota system which will require the applicant to work weekends.

The post will also involve administrative work and record keeping associated with the running of an CQC Registered Care Home, as well as undertaking and assisting the service user’s in their day to day personal care activities and independence skills.

All job roles within the company will be subject to a satisfactory DBS being received along with satisfactory references from your previous employer.
