A well established firm of independent mortgage consultants requires a mortgage and protection administrator to join their team of seven consultants and one other full time administrator.
Your daily duties will be as follows:
- Answering the telephone and passing calls to the relevant department. Speaking to clients and people who provide them with business. You will be the company front line.
- Chasing lenders, updating introducers, updating clients, solicitors and life companies.
- Keeping and maintaining a diary system.
- General Office duties
- Working to deadlines.
They are looking for a candidate who has:
- A clear and confident telephone manner.
- The ability to work under pressure and be part of a team.
- The ability to take instruction and learn where necessary.
- Proficient IT skills and able to use Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook. Be able to create worksheets and spreadsheets when required.
A working knowledge of the mortgage process is an advantage but not essential if the ideal candidate has the ability to learn.
They are situated conveniently next to the Docklands Light Railway at South Quay and are 5 minutes walk from Canary Wharf on the Jubilee Line.
They offer flexible working hours from Monday through to Friday.
