If the answers are YES then we want to hear from you! We have opportunities for Parts Sales Advisors in Nottingham.

You will be responsible for capturing and converting incoming enquiries into sales and participate in sales campaigns with passion and drive. You will create additional sales by proactively calling both prospects and existing customers and make sure you capture the customers' requirements, suggest and advise, whilst keeping a sales and customer satisfaction focus at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • A strong focus on converting incoming and outgoing calls into sales using professional sales call handling techniques
  • Supplying customers, with the correct parts in a timely and cost effective manner
  • A strong focus on maintaining or exceeding expected/target profit margins on sales made
  • Making outgoing sales calls in order to achieve sales targets set by the Group Parts Sales Manager/Parts Team Leader
  • These will involve quote conversions and prospect sales calls
  • Effective collation and feedback of information for the Parts Team Leader regarding sales which could not be made. For example Price, Out of stock items, Competitor activity, Service issues and Account problems
  • Competent use of electronic parts catalogues
  • Locating and Inter branch transfer/local purchase (special orders) of parts not stocked or currently out of stock.
  • Comply with the standards set by the franchise and our leading Motor Group
  • Attending and contributing to regular team improvement meetings and training sessions
  • Building a strong rapport with new and existing customers
  • Building a strong supplier and product knowledge (USP's) in order to aid the sales process
  • We are a leading East Midlands car dealership is looking for someone who has excellent telephone selling and enquiry-to-sale conversion abilities. You will have the confidence and personality to excel in a competitive sales environment and be excellent in building rapport with both customers and colleagues alike.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Two years parts experience essential either in the main dealer or aftermarket sectors
  • Kerridge and EPC (electronic parts catalogue) experience desirable
    • The ability to build strong successful synergies with your Parts Sales Advisor team members, Parts Team Leader and Part Sales Representative.
    • The desire and potential to be a top performer
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Quick learning skills particularly in:
      • Navigation and accuracy of parts look up
      • Supplier and product customer benefits (USP's)
      • New franchise parts, products and systems
  • The ability to come up with new ideas to improve sales
  • Strong ownership skill
  • A strong desire to be a 'winner'
  • A flexible attitude to working hours
  • The desire to continually improve your own skill set
  • Excellent self-discipline and time management skills
  • Candidates should be computer literate, with experience in Microsoft Office.
