Reporting to the Quality Manager

Objective:
To support and assist the Quality Manager in ensuring products are manufactured to the highest possible standard in accordance to the regulatory requirements and Quality Management System.

Responsibilities:

  • Completion of Company Internal Audits in line with the annual schedule, in a timely manner with completion of audit reports within agreed timelines. Following through with any Non-conformances identified to ensure where applicable CAPA are raised.
  • Carry out Inspection testing on a variety of Intermediates and Finished Goods on various critical parameters, introducing improvements and measurement systems where necessary.
  • Goods In inspection of raw materials and Third Party supplier products, ensuring the inspection is carried out in a timely manner. Where necessary completing Non-Conforming Product and CAPA forms.
  • Compilation and issuing of monthly and quarterly reports for review at monthly and quarterly Operations Management meeting demonstrating deliverance to business KPI.

Education
Essential

  • Educated up to G.C.S.E standard

Desirable

  • Educated to A level

Experience
Essential

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a quality role
  • Experience in working in a customer driven environment

Desirable

  • Experience in the medical device industry

ISO Knowledge / Experience
Essential

  • Experience in working to ISO Standards in a continuous improvement environment

Desirable

  • Knowledge of ISO 13485, 14971, EN980 and MDD 93/42/EEC

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Ability to work as part of a team
