IMAGINE is a mental health charity.  We are well known for providing a socially inclusive service called ‘Mainstream', which has achieved national recognition.

EMPLOYMENT BRIDGE BUILDER         Ref 16/09

Based in Liverpool - 37.5 hrs per week

Salary: £17773.86 per annum

Contract length: up to 31st March 2017

Are you:

  • Able to provide individual support and guidance to people using mental health services in seeking paid employment.
  • An individual with a background/experience that opens doors to people who are socially excluded?
  • Able to increase choice and access for people who experience mental health problems?

The role of a Bridge Builder is hugely satisfying and varied. The scope for creativity is excellent; networking and linking in with existing providers is essential and the ability to work in a person centred way is essential.  All applicants must have a firm commitment to social inclusion and the rights of the individual.

As an Employment Bridge Builder (Advisor) you will have experience of job searching, vocational profiling, job preparation, supporting service users to secure and to sustain employment and liaising with employers to raise awareness of mental health issues and individual's needs.
