**Exciting career development opportunity for a graduate calibre or CIMA studier to join a global leader**

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join the team. Based at Widnes, the successful candidate will be able to further their development in the core areas of management accounting, with a strong commercial emphasis. As well as normal monthly duties for an Assistant Management Accountant, this role will allow you to work closely with both financial and non-financial staff, providing key information and analysis which will directly influence decision-making.

Assistant Management Accountant Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Initially you will be responsible for offering financial support across the UK LCD business. 

> Preparing Monthly Management Accounts (P&L, Balance Sheets).
> Production of various daily, weekly and monthly MI reporting.
> Controlling general accruals and prepayments.
> Working closely with Sales Managers to influence selling activities, grow margins, reduce cost, manage risk.
> Reviewing invoice analysis to ensure accuracy of margins and process any corrections.
> Review of monthly performance with key internal customers
> Forecasting and budgeting – monthly, quarterly and annually.

What We Are Looking For:

As a CIMA studier, we will support your development as you grow into this exciting role within what is a progressive, fast paced company. 

You will be self-motivated enough to ensure that you succeed. You will be enthusiastic, a quick thinker / problem solver and you will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as strong MS Excel skills. Experience of SAP is preferred but not essential.
