Description

An opportunity has arisen for an Administrator based at a busy recycling and waste management business located in Carmarthen.  The role is permanent, hours of work are 8.30am to 5pm, 5 days a week.  The successful candidate will have a positive and flexible attitude, be organised and willing to learn.

Key Duties

  • Making and receiving telephone calls together with distribution of messages and filtering of calls
  • Utilising software to book consignments in and out of site
  • Producing reports using bespoke software and also Microsoft excel
  • Providing cover for other administrators within the organisation to include but not limited to holiday cover, weighbridge cover
  • Document control
  • Additional administrative tasks as required

Key Skills / Experience Required

  • Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office packages
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work unsupervised and also as part of a team
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience of working in an office environment - experience with a waste management company and/or an understanding of chemistry desirable

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are GCSE (grade C or above) or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
