Our client owns and manages nearly 11,000 homes and has been delivering housing related services to communities for over 20 years. Operating mainly in Lancashire but offering supported living services nationwide as well as delivering key worker accommodation in Lincolnshire, the Group employs c500 people

Following recent reorganisation, the People Services Team has been created within the HR & OD function and now requires a Temporary People Services Advisor to cover a period of maternity leave 12 months. You will be joining at the perfect time to influence the improvement of the HR, payroll and training processes, contributing to the achievement of a high performance culture across the Group.

As part of the team's development and on-going continuous improvement, you will proactively identify opportunities to streamline and automate service delivery and increase self-service functionality.

At the same time, you will be advising and coaching managers and employees on the end-to-end employee lifecycle including recruitment and selection, induction, absence management, disciplinary, grievance, capability, terms and conditions, policy interpretation and performance management.

To be successful, you will be part CIPD qualified or equivalent with good working knowledge of employment law gained working in an advisory role within a payroll / HR team. As importantly, your collaborative style of working and ability to resolve issues on your own initiative will enable you to quickly establish credibility and influence.
