They are now looking to appoint an Electrical Facilities and Maintenance Engineer to perform a range of duties relating to the maintenance of Group sites and equipment.
They are looking for a qualified electrician to assist with a variety of tasks from the Facilities Helpdesk. You will carry out electrical installations, maintenance, testing and repairs along with general maintenance tasks such as basic plumbing, painting and decorating, alterations and repairs. It will be your responsibility to undertake detailed routine maintenance work on relevant plant/equipment on Group sites and collect or deliver spares/parts.
You will have the ability to assess situations, decide on the correct course of action to be taken and subsequently carry out the appropriate task to a high level. You will have excellent communication skills and the confidence to deal with people from all levels of the business; you will be capable of prioritising workloads and sometimes deal with conflicting deadlines.
Due to the nature of this role, candidates must also be flexible to work overtime including evenings and weekends, sometimes with over-night stays. You’ll also need to hold a full clean driving licence and be able to cover site on-call as required.
