Supervisor - Weld Shop
Full Time Position
Based: Droitwich, Worcestershire (WR9 0QZ)
Our client is the only UK manufacturer of 4 wheeled metal bins and Large Steel Containers. Their products are used extensively throughout the UK and exported on a global basis. They have ambitious plans to expand the business both domestically and internationally over the next 2- 3 years.
They are proud of their heritage and capability but also that they are a true UK company competing, successfully, on a global basis.
They are looking for a Supervisor to lead the weld shop and welders. The successful applicant must have previous manufacturing supervisory experience, have a high standard for Health and Safety of themselves and their team. Experience of Lean Manufacturing methodology would be desirable but not essential. Strong team leadership and management of people is essential.
If you have:
- Previous manufacturing or other industry supervision experience.
- Track record of managing and improving health and safety and quality within a manufacturing environment.
- Passion for leading hard working teams.
- Lean or other CI training.
