Non-Executive Director
We are a leading provider of community and mental health services, delivering care to a population of 1.3 million people within the boroughs of Bury, Stockport, Trafford, Oldham, Rochdale, and Tameside and Glossop and are looking to recruit a Non-Executive Director to join our Board of Directors.
You will ideally have first-hand experience of working at Board (or equivalent) level within a complex organisation, ideally in a regulated environment. You will need to demonstrate a range of competencies required to contribute effectively at Board level, including strategic thinking, team working and excellent communication skills.
A pre-requisite of the post is that you must be a Qualified Accountant with finance experience in a large and complex organisation. Additionally you will have specific expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Governance experience, bringing experience of strategic planning, financial, risk and performance management
- Commercial experience at a senior level bringing either public or private sector expertise
- Specific expertise relating to the work of the organisation
The time commitment for this role is approximately 4 to 6 days per month, initially for a period of 3 years. This position is currently remunerated at £15,150 per annum, subject to annual review.
