Employer Partnership Coordinator

Location - Greater Manchester

Ingeus have an exciting opportunity available for an Employer Partnership Coordinator to join the team based  in Greater Manchester. Working on a full time, permanent basis, the successful Employer Partnership Coordinator will receive a competitive salary of £24,595 - £29,895 per annum.

The Working Well contract supports people with multiple barriers to employment from a variety of different client groups, including ESA, JSA and lone parents, across seven Greater Manchester councils: Bury, Wigan, Bolton, Rochdale, Stockport, Tameside and Oldham.

 The focus of delivery is to provide services to our clients that are different to those that they may have accessed in the past and as such is integrated with other services across Greater Manchester including health and housing to give clients the best possible opportunity to move back into long term work.

The Employer Partnership Co-ordinator establishes links with employers to generate appropriate and sustainable vacancies for Ingeus clients. The role requires establishing and maintaining close working relationships with local employers, employment advisors, Ingeus clients and other key partners.

Key responsibilities the Employer Partnership Coordinator will have:

  • Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with new and existing employers to generate vacancies for Ingeus clients Act as an Account Manager for a range of employers, to fulfil their recruitment needs and promote the range of services we can offer – motivated candidates, HR support, in-work support for clients and advice about staff retention Pre-screen candidates to find the best suited to those vacancies Prepare clients to work in specific industries and roles

What kind of background do I need for the role?

Some of our EST staff come from recruitment backgrounds, but this experience is not essential , we will consider anyone who has a strong sales background, field or office based, and who has experience of working to targets

You must, however, be able to demonstrate the following core competencies:

  • An ability to translate employers’ needs into the development and delivery of fit-for-purpose programmes and services An ability to manage effective and influential relationships with employers A good understanding of local labour market trends and drivers Excellent presentation and written skills Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with a wide variety of clients and employers Excellent organisation & planning skills including time management Ability to self-manage Works well in a team
