Qualified Nursery Nurse Vacancy in Manchester

Busy Manchester nursery is looking to recruit two qualified nursery nurses to expand their existing team. They are looking for hardworking candidates who are passionate about working within early years.

The nursery I am recruiting for is a busy purpose built setting, who are looking to expand their workforce as soon as possible. This is a permanent vacancy and they are also looking to take on a number of bank staff who are able to be flexible with working hours.

The right candidate will need to have the following qualifications and attributes:

• Minimum level 3 childcare qualification
• 6 months of hands on experience working within a childcare setting
• Knowledge of the EYFS and the learning goals
• Passion for working with children
• Able to commit to shifts varying from 7.00am- 6.00pm
• Confident in communicating with parents and children
• Building good relationships within the team
• Positive mentality and drive for personal development

The nursery is well known and constantly growing with new children and families, the ideal candidate needs to be able to get stuck in and integrate into the established team.

The role consists of the following tasks:

• Keeping up to date with all policies and procedures
• Learning journeys and reports are kept up to date
• Looking after children on a day to day basis
• Ensuring all children are safe at all times
• Communicating with parents, children and staff members
• Having a strong drive to succeed
