A vacancy has arisen within HPC Compressed Air Systems in our Birmingham office at Unit 3, Holly Park, Holly Lane, Erdington for a general/industrial Service Engineer with either mechanical or electrical bias to join our busy service team.
Service Engineer – Role Overview
The main duties of the role are to carry out routine planned maintenance on HPC Compressors and ancillary product ( oil water separator’s / filters / dryers ), attend equipment breakdowns when they occur, diagnose faults, identify parts required and effect the repair as quickly as possible to the clients satisfaction.
Key Skills & Experience required of our Service Engineers
The successful applicant should ideally have previous experience in compressed air or related industries (eg HGV Commercial truck maintenance / fork lifts / industrial electrician / factory multi skilled engineer employed on factory equipment maintenance). With the ability to work on their own initiative and to demonstrate the customer care skills necessary to service HPC’s established customer base and give support to HPC’s distributor network, the applicant will have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team with a flexible approach to working hours. Full training will be given.
