Due to rapid expansion, an exciting opportunity is available for a Quality Control Assistant to join a multiple award-winning company with bathroom and tiles showrooms throughout the UK. Based in Birmingham, the successful Quality Control Assistant will earn a salary of £16,380 per annum.

As a Quality Control Assistant you will ensure all orders being collected are 100% accurate, checked by the customer to ensure in pristine condition and assembled and packaged in the correct way to ensure the company’s customers receive pristine quality products first time every time. Reporting to Trade Counter Management, your main duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: 
  • Carrying out a thorough check of all products to ensure they match the products and quantities ordered
  • Being responsible for quality control ensuring no damaged product is given out
  • Ensuring all products are adequately re-packaged
  • Obtaining customer agreement of quality of product and gaining a signature on the delivery note accepting the products as checked
  • Invoicing the delivery, passing one copy to the customer and the other one to the management team to pass to the admin team
  • Loading products neatly and securely in the customer’s vehicles
  • Helping remove from vehicles and bringing products into the building when customers are returning items
  • Cleaning and maintaining your work area to agreed standards
  • Moving waste from bins/cages to the dedicated dumpsters or skips
  • Ensuring all none needed stock or back to stock returns have been processed back to stock daily
