Director of Estates and Building Services

Leicester City Council  have an exciting opportunity available for a Director of Estates and Building Services to join the team based in Leicester. Working on a full time, permanent basis, the successful Director of Estates and Building Services will receive a competitive salary of £78,260 - £87,287 per annum.

In this Director of Estates and Building Services role you will lead and shape this service and drive transformation and performance improvement. In particular you will be responsible for overseeing the Council's portfolio of property assets and projects, ensuring that the Council maximises the financial, economic and wider community benefits from our assets.

As the Director of Estates and Building Services, you will be educated to degree level or equivalent with a chartered professional qualification in a property/built environment related discipline (building, engineering, facilities management or surveying).

You must have a proven track record of managing a complex property portfolio, staff and budgets within a setting of similar scale and complexity. Key to your success will be a work record in delivery, contract management and a hands-on customer focus.
