Our NHS client based in London are looking for an Information Manager on an initial 3-6 month contract.
The post holder will lead a team of information and performance analysts and will act as deputy to the Chief Information Officer on technical information issues. The post holder will work closely with the Data Warehouse manager, ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of information from various ELFT source systems to staff in a digestible format.
Candidates will not be considered without 5 years management experience and an excellent understanding of NHS Clinical Systems including RiO/EMIS/IAPTUS, Mental and Community Health Systems.
Candidates will have knowledge of the use of health information to support clinical practice;
Information reporting requirements - national and local standards; NHS Data Standards and National NHS IM&T Strategies and developments. Candidates are required to have a strong understanding of the workings of a NHS provider organisation.
Candidates must also have an excellent ability to analyse and interpret complex situations or facts to solve problems and present options appraisals as well as an understanding of programming in SQL and data manipulation with Access and Excel.
