Accounts Office Manager

We are looking for a proven Accounts Office Manager to join our enthusiastic accounts team.

Reporting directly on a day-to-day basis to the Finance Director this will be a challenging yet worthwhile opportunity to develop and enhance this role. You will be tasked with efficiently managing and overseeing the daily function within the accounts department.

Leading by example and ideally with knowledge and an understanding from working in a similar environment you will be expected to bring efficiencies to this role and department whilst working towards best accounting practice. Taking direct responsibility for the department you will be expected to work with limited supervision. This is a rare opportunity to join a small but extremely busy accounts team and it is essential that you have excellent people management skills to lead, motivate and support your colleagues.

Daily tasks will be varied and we are looking for applicants who are either working towards or are fully qualified in their accounting qualifications and can demonstrate a proven track record at this level within an accounting office. You will be competent in using Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Furthermore, you will possess excellent attention to detail and have good oral and written skills.

This role is full-time, permanent position subject to the completion of a successful probationary period. You will work an average of 37.5 hours per week (Mon – Fri) to cover 5 days to include the need to work a Saturday on a rota basis. The ability to work as part of a team is also essential as ideally is the ability to communicate in both Welsh and English.
