Our extraCare model allows frail older people to live independently in their own self-contained apartment, with access to a home care service that is based on site. The scheme consists of 60 flats for extraCare, 7 of which are specifically designed and adapted for older people with memory loss or dementia. There are also 8 flats for disabled young adults with an additional 34 flats available for older people to rent.

Facilities at Llys Enfys include a shop, library, laundry room, hair and beauty salon as well as the main communal lounge and restaurant.

We are looking to recruit a Food Service Assistant to join our highly motivated team, to assist the Chef in preparing meals for residents; ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the kitchen and dining room. Specific duties will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of the dining areas prior to the service of meals.
• Setting up and cleaning tables, washing up and serving meals.

You will enjoy working in a team and have a positive attitude to supporting your colleagues and the residents. You will also take pride in cleanliness and organisation on shift, understanding that Health and Safety and Food Safety are essential in the workplace. You must also be passionate about food and customer service, ideally have worked in a similar role and be expected to work some weekends.
