The role
In this fast paced Business Development Manager role no two days are the same. Our ultimate goal is to keep the customer at the heart of everything we do and to do this you need to be good at building strong relationships with customers by really understanding their needs and looking for solutions to keep them happy.

You’ll be responsible for developing sales opportunities with existing accounts by analysing territory sales data, minimising order losses and identifying and converting prospect accounts. In addition you’ll identify and develop profitable business with new Bidvest Foodservice customers in order to increase our market share and size of the market within the region.

What you’ll need
As the new Business Development Manager you must bring a real passion to the table, with excellent selling skills and a proven ability to regularly exceed sales targets in your career to date. You’ll need to be:
• A strong communicator at all levels
• Flexible in your ability to develop relationships with clients of different cultures and with different needs
• Comfortable working on your own or as part of a mobile team, freely sharing your skills and knowledge
