Groundsperson / Gravedigger
- Salary: £18,095 - £19,933 per annum
- Hours of work are 8 am - 4.30 pm Monday - Thursday and 8 am - 4 pm Friday
Guildford Borough Council is looking for a qualified Groundsperson / Gravedigger to work at Stoke and The Mount cemeteries in Guildford for a fixed 12 month contract.
You will need experience in grounds maintenance, using a range of equipment such as mowers, strimmers and diggers and ideally possess grave digging qualifications.
Duties include preparation of grave plots, strimming, mowing, hedgecutting and litter picking.This post is subject to health checks.
A licence valid to drive in the UK in order to drive Council vehicles around sites would be an advantage.
