PwC is looking for a senior manager or experienced manager level candidate to lead marketing for London Region. In this role, you will take responsibility for driving the marketing strategy for London Region, ensuring the team are delivering against the strategy. A recent restructure of the strategy offers three key areas of focus: Building Relationships (buyer programmes), Campaigns and Profile. You will lead a team of five marketers, including a manager and executive in the National Awards team.

You will support the London Region team leader to ensure that the London Region Client and Market Development (CMD) team is engaged, effective, connected and aligned to the business strategy.

You will need to have excellent influencing and communication skills in order to be credible and make an impact on senior management. A vital part of that will be driven by a thorough understanding of the strategic business drivers for PwC, broad understanding of the market and our clients.

Experience of leading teams and a proven track record of delivering effective marketing campaigns will be essential.

Within the broader CMD structure, this role will sit in our Campaigns Management capability - a networked team of marketers from across our lines of service, industry sectors and regional offices. So you will also play a role in supporting the Head of Campaigns Management, be a role model to other team members and have the ability to coach and develop the junior team members to become highly effective marketers.

The Campaigns Management team is responsible for driving high-impact marketing campaigns that support the growth strategy of PwC and respond to market opportunities. The ideal candidate needs to be creative and innovative, using all the marketing channels available to meet the objectives of each programme and campaign.

About the role
PwC's London Region is a fast-paced, high growth part of our business. It incorporates all London-based clients from FTSE 101-250, AIM listed, privately owned businesses & entrepreneurs, private equity portfolio companies and G&PS.

CMD is a centralised support function and covers all aspects of professional services marketing, sales support and business development. The prime area of focus for the function is to support the development and implementation of the firm's market strategy and in particular to deliver:Revenue growthEnhanced relationships and networksA distinctive brand experienceThe PwC strategy is designed to provide a sharper focus on market issues in order to prioritise growth opportunities and align our resources to deliver them. Our plan is to obtain transformational growth of our consulting market share and to extend our lead in our core businesses of audit, tax, business recovery services and transactions.

This role will report to the Head of London Region CMD and you will be responsible for a number of areas:Provide senior manager support in the delivery of London's marketing across multiple channels.Provide expert advice on the most appropriate approach, content and channel mix and is accountable for ensuring that quality and brand standards are always upheld.Continue driving ROI measures, take responsibility for delivery and evaluation of ROI on specific campaigns and ensures junior members are tracking ROI in-line with the measures in place.Proactively seek new channels to market and innovates to engage with our audience in different ways.Work effectively with other parts of the marketing, communications and business development function, especially the Buyer Programmes, Thought Leadership, Opportunity Management and Media Relations teams.Drive quality standards through the team and monitors service levels so they are maintained consistently.Ensure that all marketing activity is continuously improved and experience, information and knowledge are shared.Support the team leader to establish a best in class team and deals with poor performance as needed.Manage performance effectively and provides opportunities for individual growth and development in line with career aspirations.
Essential skills and experience
A proven track record in the provision of large scale B2B multi-channel marketing programmes.Experience of developing and implementing marketing strategy matched to commercial objectives.An expert understanding of marketing programmes and channel management. Strong knowledge of new and traditional marketing channels including digital marketing.The ability to implement both strategic and tactical initiatives. Creative and innovative approach.Strong people management and development skills Proactive with a positive 'can do' approach.Self starter able to work effectively as part of a team.A sound business understanding as well as being commercially and risk aware.An excellent communicator and able to provide challenge to a mix of stakeholdersLeading and creating a dynamic team environment
