An exciting opportunity is available working with our client. The External Funding team are in the process of expanding their contract portfolio, maximising opportunities across Yorkshire and Humber to secure funding from the European Structural and Investment Fund.
To support the ongoing successful delivery of the External Funding provision they are currently looking to recruit a Contract Manager to join them. This role is dependent upon securing successful funding from the European Structural and Investment Fund. The post will be offered on a fixed term basis, and is anticipated to be for 2 years’ duration. This will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. In the role you will take responsibility for contract performance and compliance, ensuring that partners operate within the agreed parameters and to the defined criteria of the SSW contract. Taking lead of the on-boarding process of all delivery partners and ensuring all due diligence processes are completed, you will design and implement stakeholder engagement plans with clear objectives and measurable outcomes. Monitoring and reporting all progress to the Director of External Funding, you will develop strategies to deal with operational issues and contract challenges, ensuring that the contract meets the required outputs for the Local Enterprise Partnership.
Qualified to Degree level or equivalent in a related vocational field, you will hold GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above and be able to evidence a commitment to personal development and continuing improvement. With recent and relevant experience of Contract Management the successful candidate will be a competent people manager who is able to inspire, lead and motivate direct delivery teams and a portfolio of specialist delivery partners. An understanding of SFA and ESF funding and knowledge of government funded programmes, you will possess strong Stakeholder relationship skills and be able to communication with various departments at all levels.
Previous experience of project planning, implementation and review and of dealing with Government departments and complex contracting arrangements is essential, whilst experience of budgetary management to a value of £1million would be beneficial.
A current and full driving licence is required to be able to travel between locations if required.
