Experienced Bookkeeper

This fast growing firm of Accountants based near Basingstoke provide a full spectrum of client-centric Accountancy services, provided both via traditional and cloud-solutions (including Xero), enabling client's to get the information they need, whenever and wherever they are. This means they aren't just able to meet their needs now; they aim to be there to invest themselves in their business, and be there as it grows and matures.

Role
Experienced all-round book-keeper required with a minimum of five years' experience in practice. High levels of accuracy, attention to detail and time management are key. Xero experience and team-player are essential and ability to manage relationships with client is desirable. Sage, Iris and VT experience helpful.

Details include:
- £20k-30k depending on experience and hours of work;
- Xero experience essential;
- Permanent (full-time or part-time, working at least three days a week);
- Office based, but also working at client's premises.

Main duties include, but may not be limited to:
- Bookkeeping through to Trial Balance. Processing purchase and sales invoices and entering onto Accountancy Package, managing both purchase and sales ledgers and completing timely bank reconciliations. Information prepared and ready for prompt delivery of accounts;
- Preparation and submission of Annual, CIS and VAT returns;
- Preparing Quarterly Management Accounts;
- Help chase clients for information, credit control and signature; and
- Self-employed experience advantageous.
