Warehouse Operative

We are continuously recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to work for our client, one of the UK’s largest educational supply companies, at their distribution centre in Enfield.

As a Warehouse Operative your main responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packing
• Working to targets
• Having good attention to detail to complete paperwork for orders and stock checking
• Taking delivery of stock
• Checking for damaged/missing items
• Putting stock away in the correct locations
• Loading goods for despatch
• Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy at all times
• Being physically fit to keep up with the demands of the role

Ideally the suitable candidates will have warehouse experience but this is not essential as full training will be given.

The pay rate for this position will be £6.70 per hour (£7.20 for over 25’s).

Flexibility with regards to your working pattern is essential as weekend work may be required during busy periods.  Generally shifts are Monday to Friday with shifts available 6.30am-2.30pm, 10.30am-6.30pm and 2.30pm-10.30pm, but there may be some variation on this depending on work levels.
