This is an exciting opportunity to work autonomously as a Business Development Manager/Sales Executive with a growing organisation.

You will be joining a well established insurance brokerage based in Northallerton with a number of executives working autonomously in the North of England. The company is looking to grow and expand its team throughout the North of England.

You will be someone who is able to build long lasting, trusting relationships with clients, advising them on the best products and services to suit their needs. The role will require you to generate leads through a variety of methods from attending networking events to calling or visiting businesses to find out their renewal date. You must have excellent record keeping and organisational skills in order to maintain client records, leads and other essential sales data.

This role is ideal for someone who can demonstrate successful experience in a previous sales related field and is now looking to work with more autonomy but with the security of a salary. Knowledge of commercial or personal insurance is beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.

You must have your own car as an ability to commute to different areas in the region will be essential. This role is expected to cover the NE postcode region, with a focus on the central NE areas, and you will be based from home.

In return you can expect remuneration as follows, £14,000 per annum basic salary, £200 per month expenses (untaxed), company mobile phone, and qualifying commission target of 7% commission on all sales upon reaching the minimum qualifying amount of £6,000 per month net GWP (Gross Written Premium). Expected OTE of £22,000 based on sales of £10,000 GWP per month. Plus a 2% anniversary commission on renewals in months where qualifying sales target are met.

The expected income is based on full time hours but the company operates flexible hours to allow the individual to have a excellent work life balance along with allowing them to organise their diary effectively and around the required networking and client meetings.
