£18,000 - £22,000 depending on experience
Originally founded due to a sheer passion for motorsport and luxury vehicles, our client was created with the intention of supplying and creating some of the industry's most exciting, innovative automotive designs. In early 2005, our client began working closely with several leading commercial vehicle and public transport companies designing a huge range of bespoke printing and fitting services of vehicle graphics in West Yorkshire.
They are now looking to expand their small, busy business by inviting an experienced and talented Graphic Designer to work in with their in house design team. They need a creative, passionate individual to help create high quality, unique designs.
As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for:
• Liaising with clients to discuss project / design requirements
• Working on design projects from concept to completion
• Research and plan projects at the outset to ensure high quality and accurate work
• Setting up print ready files to be sent through to the production team
• Preparing client artwork for print
• Estimating the time required to complete work for clients
• Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design
• Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
Key Skills:
• BA Honours degree in graphic design or similar
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Fantastic time management and organization skills
• Strong people management skills coupled with excellent communication skills
• A self motivated and proactive attitude towards your work
• Good telephone manner and able to form good working relationships
Experience:
• Adobe CS6 software – predominantly Illustrator & Photoshop
• Competent in using Microsoft Office
• 5+ years industry experience
• Previous design role experience required
• Experience working with corporate clients would be advantageous
