Job Description: Assistant to Franchise Manager
Salary: To £20,000 + Car + benefits package
Location: Based in Enfield, EN3
40 hour week

The Assistant to the Franchise Manager will be involved in every aspect of ensuring that the Franchise businesses run effectively and in unison with the Company Franchise Agreement.

Alongside the key operational duties that need to be performed each month, including month end reporting, monitoring shop standards and compliance with Franchise store reporting, the Assistant will be responsible for building and maintaining positive, effective relationships throughout the Franchise network and all internal departments.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Represent the business to the Franchises
* Be the vital link between the Company and Franchisees
* Visit all Franchises throughout the UK on a frequent basis
* Assess store standards and provide updates on successful ideas within Franchised shops
* Ensure that branded display products are current and up to date, no unauthorised suppliers
* Reiterate the importance of Compliance in line with their Franchise Agreement and Company expectations
* Represent the Franchise network within the Company
* Ensure that all Franchisees submit the correct required Compliance data on time each month
* Complete the yearly Franchise Nationwide Audit exercise
* Franchise legal responsibilities - Franchise Agreement renewals, sales and keeping Franchise Agreements up to date with current legislation
* Advise and support Franchisees with all areas of their business including: Store standards, staffing and recruitment, finances and payments, cost control, expansion and promotional activities.
* Ensure the level of Customer Service offered by Franchises is on point
* Roll out and support the integration of new Company initiatives
* Provide support on any operational issues
* Assist the Franchise Manager in all aspects of the Franchising Division, including involvement, planning and presentations at the Franchise Forums
* Assist the Franchise Manager in all administration

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
* Excellent communicator
* Multi-tasker and highly organised, able to meet deadlines and manage own time effectively
* Able to build good cross department relations
* Experience in a retail sales driven environment, and preferably with Franchise models
* Ability to discuss sensitive issues with Franchisees
* High level Excel skills and experience at reporting and business analysis
* Experience of the control of profit and loss accounts
* Experience of creating and developing strategies/ business plans
* Proven ability to constructively address negative performance of a store or Franchisee, and to drive sales
* Computer literate Word and Powerpoint
* Valid driving license
