Nuttersons are a creative agency based in Manchester City Centre. We are a fast growing team of creative individuals who share the same passion to learn, innovate and grow. The working environment is family-orientated, fun and encourages learning and development for the future. This position is a role which allows you to be creative and bring your personality into the workplace.

Our Business Development Manager Degree Apprenticeship is an exciting opportunity for a recent sixth form/college leaver who is looking to gain a first hand experience of working in a creative agency whilst gaining a degree along the way. We have recently teamed up with Manchester Metropolitan University to offer this four year course.

The role will consist of creating and working towards briefs so projects can be completed and targets can be met. As a creative agency most projects will consist of branding, advertising, creating websites, marketing and social media. As a Business Development Manager you will have responsibility of turning your ideas into a fully functioning business. This is a great opportunity for an innovative individual with a creative flare.

The Ideal Candidate:

To be successful in this role you will have to be able to grow multiple businesses simultaneously. We are looking for someone who has the ability to take a business from nothing and give it the foundations needed to succeed.

What does it take to be successful in this role:

  • Be happy to sell a product/service
  • Good at building lasting relationships
  • Be able to identify and solve problems
  • Be tenacious
  • Have an appetite to succeed
  • Be self motivated and passionate
  • Communicate well with others internally and externally
  • Be affable and friendly

What is the catch?

There is no catch. However it is worth taking into account that the degree apprenticeship role is different from a normal university degree experience. Successful candidates must be fully committed both to their degree and their workplace job.

Hard work is also required. In addition to working four days a week in our office and studying one day a week in university, the successful candidate will also be required to study at least eight hours a week to ensure they stay on top of their university work. Therefore, the successful candidate must be able to time manage efficiently.
