Location: Gosforth
Salary: £27,716 to 32,760 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week
Closing Date: 5pm on Monday 16th May
Contract: Fixed term for up to 2 year (from start date)

Job Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Intelligence Developer based at the company's Gosforth office.
This is a key role within the Information and Service Design team. The company is looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic person with experience of building data warehouse systems using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or 2008, T-sql SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Business Intelligence and ETL processes. In addition, you will be familiar with developing complex SQL stored procedures and optimising SQL statements to run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing the organisation's SQL server based business intelligence solutions
- The administering of the organisation's Management Information SQL and Progress databases
- Managing the implementation of the changes requested by the MI project group
- Contributing to the implementation of systems that ensure the organisation achieves maximum benefit from its investment in ICT
- Supporting the business needs by providing ad-hoc reports and answering any Service Desk queries
- Assist in the management of the delivery of ICT solutions that are appropriate to the company's infrastructure and skills. Support the implementation and administration of the Group's web services
- Ad-hoc development of small applications
The Candidate:
Ideally you will have had some exposure to MYSQL or progress database technology and you are also required to understand relational database design, table design and referential integrity. Experience of working with Capita Open Housing, Midland iTrent, SharePoint and ABS Accounting systems databases would be highly beneficial but training can be given in these areas.
