Gate Engineer / Automatic Gate Engineer
Location: North West and Midlands

The Gate Engineer / Automatic Gate Engineer Role:
- Installing, servicing, maintaining and repairing automatic gates and barriers.
- Diagnosing and quantifying repairs or upgrades and pricing accordingly.
- Ensuring we deliver the highest quality of customer service.
Gate Engineer / Automatic Gate Engineer Skills / Experience:
- Relevant electrical qualifications would be an advantage
- Full competence and knowledge of the relevant legislation including:
- Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
- BS EN 12453-2000 - in relation to gate Safety
- BS EN 13241-1:2003 Industrial, commercial and garage doors and gates ; including the supporting standards for Mechanical & Environmental Aspects and Installation
- Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008
- Ideally a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
- BSEN16005 certification would be an advantage: training or renewal of existing BS7036 can be arranged
- Excellent organisational & communication skills
- The ability to manage a busy work schedule and meet deadlines
- Relevant CSCS card would be an advantage
You will also be required to participate in the out of hour's emergency call out and standby rota.
