Based in Chelmsford, our client is a significant member of a Floor Covering Distribution Group operating a vehicle fleet of 16 rigid vehicles.
This position is an excellent opportunity and will be of interest to applicants who have experience in warehouse operations or loading/unloading of vehicles. Experience of the flooring industry is not essential but will be an advantage, as will a current fork lift license although full training can be provided for the right candidate.

The Responsibilities include

• Taking ultimate responsibility for performance of warehouse operations and a team of 4 loaders on the shift.
• Unload an average of 3 trunkers per night and load this along with locally picked product on to 16 vehicles for distribution.
• Ensuring the weight is distributed evenly and safely across all vehicles.
• Comply with all Health and Safety policies.
• Train and develop the team to improve your staff and the service standards of the business as a whole.
• Be an integral player in the management team of the business unit.

This is Sunday to Thursday nights from 8pm to 6am. Although flexibility will be required to suit the needs of the business.
