Their team in Basingstoke is growing and they have the pleasure of expanding their finance team. They are currently looking for a Management Information Executive Assistant whose main role will be to assist in the design and implementation of the reporting infrastructure (financial and non-financial) for the company and to provide commercial and analytical support to the Management Information Executive.
Key Responsibilities:
- To obtain an understanding of the "Oryx" applications assisting the manager in supporting the "bottom up" and "top down" financial planning / budgeting process across the company globally.
- Being responsible for preparing and reconciling the monthly Sales Ledger Control Report for the UK Operations for distribution to the Risk Department prior to submission to our Funding Banks.
- Reconciling monthly reports from the Aquarius software and liaising with the Global Hub to ensure the information is consistence and accurate to the information they send to their Funding Banks on a daily basis. The report must be completed within three working days of month end.
- Being responsible for the receiving, validating and testing the monthly client extract report from the Aquarius software, prior to upload into the Oryx software.
- Check all reports and views generated with the Oryx software and ensure all ratios are correct for use within the Planning and Budgeting model.
- Investigate and resolve all anomalies in conjunction with Accountability.
- Being responsible for receiving, validating and testing the monthly new client report from the CRM system prior to upload into Oryx.
- Investigate and resolve all anomalies with the Sales, Marketing or Business Operation.
- Being responsible for all UK Business Operations client numbers within the Oryx software, agreeing on a monthly basis with Sales and Marketing reports from the CRM system. These numbers are paramount to inclusion within the Planning and Budgeting Model.
- Being responsible for setting up and maintaining the Business Intelligence Site on a monthly basis taking reports from Oryx and reconciling the figures prior to upload in a data warehouse.
- Being responsible for maintaining and testing the default templates in the Oryx software, prior to each quarterly forecast, Operating Plan and Budget.
- Maintain documentation of the underlying rules and formula within Oryx and maintain their validity.
- Being part of a team to integrate Oryx into the company in order to automate manual process currently evident within the company.
- Having gained a full understanding of the Oryx software assist the manager in support to the rest of the Finance Team.
Key Requirements:
- Experience - Access and Advanced Excel
- Skills - Attention to detail, financial analysis, report production and working without supervision.
- Qualifications - Degree
Desirable for the role:
- Experience - Good knowledge of SQL
- Skills - knowledge of business finance
